NXP is a manufacturer of transponders found in many of todays car keys.
For example, NCF29 is used in over 80% of todays vehicle keys.
In the image below you will see the NCF29 in the product description.

For proximity keys, these can now be cloned with the relevant tool.
However, apart from BMW, if you clone the key, only the original or the new key can work at one time. Each time the remote is used, the sync code changes.
The proximity is not affected, so both keys can work for proximity functions.
This is why you will start to see aftermarket keys without remote buttons, such as DIYR114.
Purpose:
A specialist tool for cloning/copying NXP smart-key chip remotes, especially NCF29xx / NCF29Ax style smart keys.
Main claimed functions:
Read / write / reset NXP smart key data.
Copy NXP smart keys so the replacement can work without normal in-car matching, where supported.
Often sold with or alongside solder-free adapter boards for different vehicle brands.
Marketed as fast, with some listings claiming “30 seconds key adding” and “unlimited tokens.”
Best use case:
Useful for locksmiths wanting to reuse, copy or initialise NXP-based smart keys, particularly where the original key is available and the task is more key-data cloning than standard OBD programming.
Limitations / caution:
Coverage is not universal just because the chip is NXP.
Vehicle model, key PCB, chip variant and remote function need checking.
NCF29AG is a frequent limitation across this product category.

2. EoneBoss NK001 - STOCKED
Purpose:
The NK001 is EoneBoss’s NXP smart-key cloning tool. It appears to be the broader, more general NXP-focused tool compared with the Hyundai/Kia-specific HK tools.
Main functions:
Copies NXP smart key data from an original key to another original, EoneBoss, or third-party smart key.
Uses the EoneBoss mobile app via Bluetooth.
A soldering workflow: connect to original key PCB, read/save data, then connect to new key and write data. - TT001 can be used.
Claimed to copy around 70–80% of NCF29Ax series smart keys
Updated in app
Important notes:
NCF29AG is listed as not supported currently
If not using EoneBoss keys, there may is a daily copy limit; 5 copies per day for non-EoneBoss keys, unlimited when using EoneBoss keys.
Some third-party keys may have incorrect button functions after copying.
Best use case:
A good option for a locksmith wanting a general NXP cloning solution, especially for NCF29Ax-style smart keys, where they are happy to work at PCB/key level rather than purely OBD.
3. EoneBoss HK001
Purpose:
The HK001 is a Hyundai/Kia-focused key tool for NXP NCF29Ax smart keys, particularly Hyundai/Kia smart keys with part numbers starting 95440 (Proximity)
Main functions:
Generate same part number smart key.
Copy smart key data.
Unlock used Hyundai/Kia smart keys back to a virgin/factory-new state.
Modify only selected parameters such as part number and lock status while preserving core data
Supported area:
Hyundai/Kia smart keys using NXP NCF29Ax format.
Supports OEM and aftermarket Hyundai/Kia smart keys with 29A* format starting with 95440.
Operation:
Can work by soldering to the PCB
Also supports adapter mode / solder-free operation
Limitations:
NCF29AG not supported yet, according to the HK001 product listing.
Some third-party keys may have incorrect button functions.
Best use case:
Ideal if your focus is Hyundai/Kia NXP smart key reuse, unlock and cloning.
4. EoneBoss HK002
Purpose:
The HK002 Hyundai/Kia 8A systems using Texas Instruments (TI) chips, rather than the NXP NCF29Ax area handled by HK001.
Main functions:
One-click unlock.
PIN code reading.
Working without disassembling the key, which makes it a quicker workflow than HK001 for the supported Hyundai/Kia 8A/TI applications.
Best use case:
A useful complementary tool to HK001 if your Hyundai/Kia work includes 8A/TI smart keys and you want a faster, non-disassembly workflow.
Limitation:
It should not be viewed as the same as HK001. HK001 is NXP/NCF29Ax focused; HK002 is described as Hyundai/Kia 8A/TI focused.

3D view
For a professional locksmith product range, we’d view these as specialist key-reuse and cloning tools, not replacements for Autel, Xhorse, or Lonsdor. They fill a very specific gap: reusing locked/used smart keys and cloning smart key data at chip/PCB level.
The strongest commercial angle is Hyundai/Kia: HK001 + HK002 together gives coverage across two different Hyundai/Kia smart-key technology areas — NXP/NCF29Ax and 8A/TI. NK001 or NXP Killer is broader and more flexible, but more dependent on chip variant, wiring/adapters, and real-world coverage validation.
